Year of the Dragon
The Marx Brothers came into my life in an odd moment. I was at the library with my sister and to say the least I was bored as can be. I couldn’t find a single book to take home and almost gave up when Groucho’s name popped up and took hold of my attention. From then on, I’ve been a fan. I of course checked out his autobiography, read thru it, and started an intriguing journey for me. Looking into his work, his life, and realizing a huge legacy that’s been left behind. So many films and shows that were entirely ahead of its time, such originality and spirit. A sense of humor never dies and they will continue to live on in film and our memories forever.
